Williamsburg Community Foundation provides nonprofit grants up to $ 5,000
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – The Williamsburg Community Foundation will begin providing grants of up to $ 5,000 in March 2022.
The Williamsburg Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on improving the quality of life, ensuring that members of every community are represented and providing the opportunity for communities to thrive.
The foundation provides charitable resources such as grants and scholarships to nonprofit organizations serving residents of James City County, City of Williamsburg, and York County.
To receive the 2022 grants, nonprofits must request funding the Community Endowment Fund, the Genevieve McGiffert Fund for the Performing Arts and / or the Occasion for the Arts Fund by December 16, 2021.
According to the foundation, organizations typically only receive one grant per year.

Â· Supports visual arts programs such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry making, metal crafts, woodworking and glassworking. Preference for programs with a positive impact on the community.

Genevieve McGiffert Fund for the Performing Arts
Â· Created by Linda and Donald Baker and Michael McGiffert to support adult vocal performances.
Support vocal music performance intended for predominantly adult audience
