New IFMA Foodservice training center offers on-demand training courses and events

CHICAGO, September 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) today announced the launch of its all-new IFMA Foodservice Education Center, an online learning platform featuring on-demand courses and training opportunities for members of IFMA to enrich their knowledge and understanding of doing business in the restaurant industry.

The IFMA Foodservice Training Center features multi-lesson courses providing the latest restaurant best practices and information. Industry professionals can choose from courses such as ‘Best Practices in National Account Development’, which provide a practical foundation for customer segmentation in sales and marketing and common business planning frameworks. , and an on-demand version of “Restaurant Fundamentals (TM)” allowing catering newcomers to learn the basics of the industry.

Each course is taught by subject matter experts and includes course materials and templates to activate learning upon completion of the course. Additionally, the Foodservice Education Center includes shorter course content such as The Restaurant of the Future and Defining the Future of Foodservice, which are included with IFMA membership.
