Missaukee County and visitors please buy local to support our businesses in the area. A lot of people don’t realize the importance of keeping their hard earned money in their own community. By spending money outside the community on goods and services, it takes away from local businesses in our community that also support our police and fire departments, parks and recreation facilities, manufacturing businesses and our local workforce. Not only is the purchase of local support businesses run by your friends and neighbors, but the local sales tax generated is what funds most of the local government services you receive in your daily life.
