ALTA Good Deeds Foundation awards $ 143,000 in grants

WASHINGTON, October 15, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The American Land Titles Association (ALTA) Foundation of good deeds, a registered 501 (c) (3) charity founded by ALTA, the national professional association of the land title insurance industry, today announced the recipients of $ 143,000 in grants. The Foundation announced the recipients of a second round of semi-annual grants during ALTA A, ALTA biggest annual event.

“Over the past few months, the Foundation has been delighted to receive numerous applications from ALTA members naming organizations that have had a significant impact on their communities, ”said the chairman of the board of trustees Mary o’donnell, President and CEO of Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. “The Foundation was created with the belief that ‘good deeds make communities grow’, and we are excited to see how these recipients are using grants to build and strengthen their neighborhoods. “

The ALTA The Good Deeds Foundation was launched in 2020 to support the charitable efforts of ALTA members. The first round of grants was announced in March.
